Cuzco, Peru. An ancient stone wall.
Faces, people and animals appear to me out of the shadows.

Context: I have a fascination with ancient architecture. So while this may look like a highly stylised image of a man carrying a large box on his shoulder (Or is it only me that sees him?) it’s actually / also a fairly accurate rendering of the huge and intricately fitting stone blocks in a (very) ancient wall in Peru, something considered improbable/ impossible with today’s technology. Ah, the things we forget! Which may be a good title for this series. This was the first of them.
