An Uneasy Peace

This, essentially, is Misty Eyes and Electric Blues painted in a style heavily influenced by Piet Mondrian. A much more peaceful picture – that blue box is happy to stay within its bounds – but its an uneasy peace – there’s a (deliberate) lack of balance here that causes the whole composition to start floating up off the top of the canvas after a while.
