Misty Eyes and Electric Blues

Experimenting with some Barnett Newman / Rothko inspired shapes, zips, colours. The orange zip is happy enough to stay put, but the blue…. my brain has a hard time figuring out ‘where’ that actually is. A pleasingly disconcerting piece!

EDIT// Revisiting this piece about a year later I’m still impressed with its power to confuse – it really is quite disturbing!
