Something magical happens when this painting is backlit (see 2nd image for actual painting front lit) – even the overpainted engine house by the sea comes back to life. And those colours!
One day I may get round to building a box frame with LED lighting for this. Maybe. Or you could build your own – might be quicker? I did consider a series of these backlit paintings but framing takes enough of my time as it is – this is likely a one-off!
